Bet Type Descriptions

• 1x2:

  A 1x2 bet is a is three-way bet on the outcome of a soccer match in normal time. The 1x2 notation simply refers to betting on a home win (1), a draw (x) or an away win (2).

• Total:

  A Total bet is a wager on the total number of points, games or goals scored by both participants combined. You can bet on whether the Total is over or under the posted Total number, each option having associated odds.

• Team Total:

  A Team Total bet is a wager on the total number of points, or goals scored by one team in a game. You can bet on whether the Total is over or under the posted Total number, each option having associated odds.

• Live Betting:

  For an increasing number of events at Pinnacle we offer live odds on the outcome of the event while it is being played.

• Accumulator:

  An Accumulator (also known as a Parlay) is a combination of two or more bets on one or more games. You must correctly predict all of your selections to win your Accumulator. The more games you select, the higher the combined odds and therefore the bigger the potential win if all of your selections are correct.

• Handicap:

  A Handicap bet counters the perceived bias in ability of contestants by applying a positive or negative goal/point/game  start to each side or player. A Handicap bet has only two options eliminating the Draw.

• Double Handicap:

  This bet type splits a wager into two bets, each with the same moneyline, but at a different single handicap.

• Teaser:

  A Teaser is similar to an Accumlator, the difference being that you can adjust the Handicap or Points Total in your favour to increase your chances of winning and the odds for the whole Teaser are fixed. Additional points are either added to the underdog or subtracted from the favourite when betting a Teaser.

• Outright:

  An outright bet is on the winner of a competition, event or league rather than a component game or match. An example would be the outright winner of the French Open or UEFA Champions League.

• Matchup:

  A Matchup bet (also known as a Head-to-Head) offers odds on the performance of two specific participants relative to each-other. For example will Golfer A post a better first round score than Golfer B?
