League of Legends Weekly Best Bets: LCK and LPL Week 6

Explore League of Legends weekly best bets for the LCK and LPL. Dive into Pinnacle's odds, expert predictions, and top esports insights to stay ahead of the game.

LCK: Dplus KIA (+149*) vs. Hanwha Life (-183*) best bets - February 19, 2025

Both Dplus KIA (DK) and Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) have been stellar this season. DK remained undefeated in the Group Stage and secured a spot in playoffs round 2. It easily defeated Nongshim RedForce (NS) and advanced to round 3, now just one step away from the Grand Final.

HLE’s journey, however, has been more challenging than DK’s. The team was placed in Group Baron during the Group Stage, which is considered the "loser group," and HLE only finished as the second seed in that group. As a result, HLE had to start from the play-in stage.

After advancing to the playoffs, HLE has hit its stride, defeating T1 and Gen.G in two intense five-game series under the Fearless Draft format. This showcased the team’s deep champion pool and adaptability.

Top Laner Choi "Zeus" Woo-je delivered crucial performances, particularly in HLE’s victory over T1, his former team, during the playoffs. This proves that HLE’s decision to sign “Zeus” during the transfer period was a smart move for the organization.

Best bets: Dplus KIA Money Line (+149*) and Total Maps Over 4.5 (+174*)

Bet: Dplus KIA vs. Hanwha Life odds

LPL: Ninjas in Pyjamas (+120*) vs. Anyone’s Legend (-146*) best bets – February 22, 2025

Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) delivered an unexpectedly strong performance this season. The team advanced to the knockout stage as the first seed in its group, remaining undefeated in matches and only losing a single map. NIP’s most notable upset was against Invictus Gaming (IG). Despite IG rebuilding its roster with star players, it still lost to NIP and only advanced as the second seed in its group.

Anyone’s Legend (AL) has also made waves with its new roster, showcasing its potential during last December’s Demacia Cup by defeating powerhouse Top Esports (TES) in the grand final. AL was able to replicate this success against TES in the group stage, securing a direct spot in the knockout stage’s upper bracket.

Both teams feature veteran star players leading young rising talents, making this an exciting matchup to see which team’s roster rebuild has been more successful.

Best bets: Handicap NIP +1.5 (-179*) and Total Maps Over 4.5 (+169*)

LPL: Bilibili (-297*) vs. Weibo (+211*) best bets - February 23, 2025

Bilibili Gaming (BLG) was regarded as the best team in the LPL until its shocking defeat to ThunderTalk Gaming (TT) last week. This upset cost BLG its direct spot in the knockout stage upper bracket. The team’s Jungler, Yan "Wei" Yangwei, had a chaotic performance in the series against TT. However, the biggest issue within BLG appears to be the players’ arrogance, a concern that has been widely criticized by fans since last season.

In a pre-game interview before facing TT, BLG’s Top Laner, Chen "Bin" Zebin, stated that he doesn’t do much research on his opponents’ gameplay but believes he can always gain the upper hand in-game. This interview highlighted his overconfidence against his opponents.

Meanwhile, Weibo Gaming (WBG) secured the second seed in its group after losing a five-game series against JD Gaming (JDG). Despite this, WBG remains a strong contender, particularly with Jungler Gao "Tian" Tianliang’s aggressive early-game playstyle. The jungle matchup between BLG and WBG could be the key factor in this series.

Best bets: Handicap WBG +1.5 (-107*) and Toal Maps Over 3.5 (-276*)

LPL: Top Esports (-174*) vs. Invictus (+130*) best bets - February 23, 2025

Top Esports (TES) has fallen short of fans' expectations this season. Even with coach Yoon "Homme" Sung-young joining the team, it has yet to exact revenge on Anyone's Legend (AL), suffering back-to-back losses against AL since the Demacia Cup and now in the LPL Split 1 group stage.

Invictus Gaming (IG) was one of the most talked-about teams at the start of the season when it announced its roster. However, despite the star power of its players, internal issues persist. Mid Laner Song "Rookie" Eui-jin plays aggressively during the laning phase, but his synergy with Jungler Zhao "Jiejie" Lijie has been problematic. Jiejie’s early conservative playstyle often clashes with “Rookie”’s approach, leading to coordination issues and costly misplays in the mid-to-late game.

IG’s bot lane duo also faces challenges. AD Carry Chen "GALA" Wei prefers a resource-focused, safe playstyle, typically avoiding early skirmishes. Meanwhile, Support Tian "Meiko" Ye thrives on early-game aggression and lane impact. This disconnect in playstyles has resulted in IG’s bot lane frequently being a weak point that opponents exploit.

Best bets: Top Esports Money Line (-174*) and Handicap TES –1.5 (+125*)
